Scenes of the crime.

Been having some technical hardships on this end. Hence the lack of updates, but it will be back on track very soon. In the meantime I will post some scenes from movies, that use certain songs to perfect effect. Beware, NSFW (not suitable for work).

But enjoy.

Mean Streets - Jumping Jack Flash

One of three Scorsese clips from this list. Badass.

Casino - Can you hear me knocking?

Used to perfection as Pesci's gangster is on the way into Vegas.
Can you hear him knockin'??

Raging Bull - Intermezzo: Cavalleria Rusticana

Just a perfect contrast. Beautiful. Perhaps the best opening sequence in film.

Jackie Brown - Across 110th Street

Pam Grier's jaunt with a bag full of dope through an airport lost in time. Perfect.

Royal Tenenbaums - Back to back Stones

This scene is a first. I have never seen a scene with back to back cuts off the same album. Just a great scene.

Boogie Nights - Sister Christian, Jesse's Girl, 99 Red Balloons

This surreal stand alone scene from Boogie Nights uses three hilarious throwbacks that work perfectly in this insane set-up. I love the fireworks keeping everything on edge.

Pulp Fiction - Bullwinkle Pt II

Not for the faint of heart, Travolta does what every man should do before a big date.
Shoot Heroin.

This one needs no intro. Truly trandescending cinema.

I say we let him go.

KL8N

stay tuned, we will be back in full force.
