The deep pool of funk that came from 70's New Orleans is a blessing and a curse to those labels, as disc after disc of quality Funk, fail to garner the attention that they deserve. Where as the cuts that came from say, Stax or Motown would have the spotlight on them from the moment they were signed to the label. Here, case in point, are The Gaturs with Wasted. Nothing I say will improve on the headknock of these tracks, so get right to it.
