I posted the first GIRLS single Hellhole Ratrace back in January because of the way it's downer mantra unravelled itself into an uplifting sing-a-long. On Lust For Life, the wish list is both moving and hilarious. Pleading for a "pizza and a bottle of wine" with the same conviction as the need for "a loving man in my life".
This ridiculous downer likability is at the center of this band's appeal.
