Portland based The Thrushes had a minor hit last year with the Ronettes/Jesus and Mary Chain aping Heartbeats. I loved it for a month last year and kind of forgot about it, until I came across the open call for remixes from the band. They chose twelve of their favs and let everyone vote. Some were a little redundant due to the initial "wall of sound" that already existed. But these two are awesome. Check the original so you know how good the changes really are.
